First Choice Drainage Solutions is a family owned business operating in the drainage and plumbing sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team at our office based in Matching Green, Harlow. The right candidate can expect to progress in their career as the company expands.

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated individual interested in working within our fast-paced office environment.

Previous experience of working on CRM systems and with engineers or involvement in trade-based organisation would be highly desirable; a willingness to learn is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Operations Manager to include;

  • Screening and handling customer telephone calls, emails, enquiries and requests
  • Booking in and prioritising engineers workloads/diary’s
  • Liaising with engineers on a daily basis – giving instructions to them on next jobs, chasing up on completed job sheets, organising parking etc.
  • Raising and following up customer quotes
  • Producing invoices based on work complete by the engineers and sending them to customers
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as requested by the Operations Manager

Skills and Experience

  • Have good knowledge of excel
  • Excellent numerical, computer and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload whilst maintaining deadlines is incredibly important
  • A strong focus on customer services
  • Pro-activity and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Able to communicate professionally with all levels of people with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working on CRM Systems would be beneficial but not essential
